How do I place an order?
Simply browse our website, add items to your basket, and proceed to checkout. We accept all major credit and debit cards and payment is processed securely at checkout.
Can I change or cancel my order after placing it?
If you need to change or cancel your order please contact us at info@ridgeapex.com as soon as possible. Once an order has been dispatched we are unable to cancel it and you would need to follow our returns process instead.
Will I receive an order confirmation?
Yes. As soon as you place your order you will receive an order confirmation email. If you do not receive it within a few minutes please check your spam or junk folder.
Is it safe to pay on your website?
Yes. Our checkout is fully secured and encrypted. We do not store your payment card details. All transactions are processed through our secure payment gateway.
Do you charge VAT?
All prices displayed on our website are inclusive of VAT. There are no additional charges at checkout.
Delivery
How much does delivery cost?
We offer free delivery on all orders to UK addresses. No minimum order value and no hidden charges.
How long will my order take to arrive?
Orders are typically delivered within 2 to 5 business days from the date of order. Handling time is 1 to 3 business days and transit time is 1 to 2 business days. We do not deliver on weekends or UK public holidays.
Do you deliver outside the UK?
We currently deliver to UK addresses only. We do not ship internationally at this time.
Will I receive tracking information?
Yes. Once your order has been dispatched you will receive a shipping confirmation email with your tracking number and a link to monitor your delivery in real time.
What happens with large and heavy items like pizza ovens and BBQs?
Large and heavy items are delivered by specialist pallet or freight courier. Delivery is to kerbside — the driver will bring your item to the edge of your property but is not able to carry it inside or through a garden. Please ensure someone is available to receive and sign for the delivery and that you have assistance to move it to its final position.
My order has not arrived within the expected timeframe — what should I do?
First check your tracking link from your dispatch confirmation email. If there are no updates or you have concerns please contact us at info@ridgeapex.com with your order number and we will investigate with the carrier.
Returns and Refunds
What is your returns policy?
We offer a 14-day returns policy. If you change your mind after receiving your order you have 14 days from the day it arrives to contact us and request a return. Items must be unused and in original packaging. Please see our full Returns and Refund Policy page for details.
How do I start a return?
Email info@ridgeapex.com with the subject line "Return Request" and include your order number and reason for return. We will reply within 1 business day with the return address and instructions. Please do not send items back without contacting us first.
Who pays for return shipping?
For change of mind returns the cost of return shipping is the responsibility of the customer. For faulty, damaged, or incorrectly sent items we cover all return shipping costs.
How long does a refund take?
Once we receive and inspect the returned item we will process your refund within 10 working days back to your original payment method.
My item arrived damaged — what do I do?
Please photograph the outer packaging and the item before fully unpacking and contact us within 48 hours of delivery at info@ridgeapex.com with your order number and photos. We cannot process damage claims reported after 48 hours.
Pizza Ovens
What fuel do wood-fired pizza ovens use?
All wood-fired pizza ovens in our range use kiln-dried hardwood logs. Silver birch is particularly recommended for fast ignition and high heat. Never use wet, treated, or painted wood as this produces harmful smoke and inadequate heat.
How long does a wood-fired pizza oven take to heat up?
This varies by model. Compact portable ovens like the Igneus Minimo reach 400°C in 10 to 15 minutes. Larger ovens like the Clementi 100x80 take 30 minutes or more. Full heat-up times are listed on each product page.
Can pizza ovens cook more than just pizza?
Absolutely. All the pizza ovens we sell are versatile outdoor ovens capable of roasting meats, baking bread, cooking vegetables, preparing casseroles in a cast iron pot, and even making desserts. The pizza oven name is misleading — they are proper outdoor ovens.
Can I use a pizza oven indoors?
Wood-fired and gas pizza ovens must only be used outdoors in well-ventilated spaces. The only exception is the Clementi Crosti Electric, which is designed for both indoor and outdoor use.
What is the difference between a wood-fired and gas pizza oven?
Wood-fired ovens produce authentic wood smoke flavour and are the traditional choice. Gas ovens are more convenient — push-button ignition, dial temperature control, no wood to source or manage, and virtually no smoke. Many gas ovens include a wood conversion kit so you can use both fuels.
Do pizza ovens come with a warranty?
Yes. All pizza ovens in our range come with a manufacturer warranty. Igneus ovens come with a 1-year warranty. Clementi ovens come with a 2-year warranty. Warranty periods are clearly stated on each product page.
Fire Pit Tables
What fuel do gas fire pit tables use?
All gas fire pit tables in our range run on LPG propane as standard. Every model also includes a natural gas conversion kit for connection to mains gas by a Gas Safe registered engineer.
Do I need a Gas Safe engineer to install a natural gas fire pit?
Yes. Natural gas fire pits must be installed and connected to mains gas by a Gas Safe registered engineer. This is a legal requirement in the UK. The conversion from propane to natural gas is straightforward and typically takes around 10 minutes for a qualified engineer.
Is a gas fire pit safe to use on decking?
Yes. Gas fire pits produce no ash, sparks, or embers and are safe for use on decking. They are also virtually smoke and smell free making them suitable for use close to neighbours and in enclosed outdoor spaces.
What is lava rock and fire glass used for?
Lava rock and fire glass fill the burner pan around the flame. They radiate heat efficiently, protect the burner from direct exposure, and create the decorative flame display that makes a gas fire pit visually impressive. Both are included with the relevant products in our range.
Do fire pit tables come with a cover?
Most fire pit tables in our range include a canvas cover as standard. Some also include a lid to cover the burner pan when not in use. Please check the individual product listing for what is included with each model.
Is the gas cylinder included?
No. Gas cylinders are not included with any fire pit table. You will need to purchase a propane gas cylinder separately from a local gas supplier, hardware store, or supermarket.
BBQ Grills
Do Lifestyle BBQs come with a hose and regulator?
Most models include a hose and regulator — please check the individual product listing as this varies by model. The Cuba 2 Burner for example does not include a hose and regulator while the St. Vincent and Grenada do.
Do BBQs require assembly?
Yes. All BBQs in our range require assembly on arrival. Full assembly instructions are included in the box. Assembly typically takes 30 to 60 minutes depending on the model.
What is the difference between a pellet smoker and a gas BBQ?
A gas BBQ is fast, convenient, and easy to use but produces minimal smoke flavour. A pellet smoker like the Lifestyle Big Horn uses wood pellets to produce real wood smoke flavour and is ideal for low and slow cooking — brisket, ribs, pulled pork. The pellet smoker requires a mains power connection for the pellet feed motor.
What is a kamado BBQ?
A kamado is a ceramic egg-shaped BBQ that retains heat exceptionally well due to its thick ceramic walls. The Dragon Egg Charcoal Kamado can reach very high temperatures for searing, hold low temperatures for long slow smoking, and cook pizza on the included stone. It uses charcoal and produces real charcoal flavour in everything you cook.

We do our best to keep all listings accurate and up to date. If an item is out of stock or subject to a longer lead time we will contact you within 1 business day of your order to advise and offer alternatives or a full refund.
