GrillSymbol Luna Copper Fire Pit 119cm

A handmade statement fire pit built around a Cor-Ten steel frame clad entirely in real copper sheet, fixed with copper rivets and finished by hand. At 119cm across and 200kg, the Luna Copper is designed to be the centrepiece of a patio or garden — generous enough for the whole family to gather around, and distinctive enough to hold its own as a piece of outdoor sculpture. Optional cooking grills (sold separately) convert it into a barbecue when needed.

A Finish That Changes With Time

When new, the copper has a warm reddish tone. Left outdoors, it gradually develops its own aged patina — a natural combination of tones and markings that makes every Luna Copper unique. After approximately a year outdoors, the surface takes on a noticeably more antique appearance. If you prefer to keep the original copper colour, GrillSymbol recommends varnishing the copper surfaces immediately after installation.

The copper exterior is separated from the inner fire chamber by an air gap, which helps prevent the outer panels from becoming excessively hot during use. Heat from the fire does not alter the chemical composition of the copper.

Key Features

• Handmade construction — each fire pit is finished by hand, giving every piece its own individual character
• Real copper exterior — copper sheet fixed to a Cor-Ten steel frame using copper rivets; develops a natural patina over time outdoors
• Double-wall design — air gap between exterior and inner chamber keeps outer panels cooler during use
• Substantial build — 5mm exterior panels and legs; 3mm remaining components; 200kg total weight
• Integrated ash basket — built into the fire chamber for easier clean-up
• Choice of stones included — Valencia Rose (light pink) or Extra Black stones included as standard
• Optional cooking grills — Arttu and Otto adjustable grills (sold separately) convert the Luna Copper into a barbecue

Optional Arttu & Otto Cooking Grills

The Arttu (left grill) and Otto (right grill) are sold separately and allow you to use the Luna Copper as a barbecue. Both are made from 3mm stainless steel with 5mm stainless steel fixings. They rotate 360 degrees and are height-adjustable, so you can manage cooking temperatures for different foods by positioning them higher or lower over the fire. Each grill has a 30 x 30cm griddle surface. Ideal for smaller gatherings when you want the simplicity of cooking over a real fire without the hassle of a separate barbecue.

Important

Due to its weight (200kg), the Luna Copper is delivered on a pallet to kerbside.
